Too few cattle today to compare to last week and develop an accurate trend. Moderate to good demand for today's yearling offering featuring mostly packages with just a couple of loads, many tested open heifers again today. Flesh on the yearlings mostly light to moderate plus, as some of the cattle were in the lot as well as off grass. Light to moderate demand for a couple packages of spring calves with steer calves selling with the best demand. The calves were fully preconditioned and off the cow. Most of the spring calves consigned today cancelled due to muddy road and yard conditions making it impossible to get trucks in or out. A moderate market with limited buyer attendance today. Widespread moisture across the area again this week with little to no sun to dry things out. Fall harvest and other pressing fall work is again at a standstill. Next feeder cattle sale is next Thursday, October 10.
