Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers 15.00 to 25.00 higher, heifers 10.00 to 14.00 higher. Very good demand for this lighter offering of yearling steers and heifers. The majority of the offering was in full load lots, including multiple load lots. The market was very active as there were many buyers on the seats ready to buy these highly desirable cattle. The feature consignment of nearly 400 steers was in a very attractive, light to moderate flesh condition, other consignments ranged from moderate plus to heavy flesh. As the cash fed cattle market continues it's advance, cattle feeders are extremely bullish and willing to chase the market a long ways to get the yearlings bought that they need. Next feeder cattle sale, Aug 14, 2025, expecting 3,500 feeders and starting at 10:00 am.
