Compared to last week: steers 800 to 849 lbs mostly steady, 850 to 999 lbs 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Best test on heifers 700 to 799 lbs mostly steady. Big finishing type cattle selling in strings and loads made up the majority of today's large offering which was met with good to very good demand. Both home raised and backgrounded cattle available with many opportunities to buy several loads of same weight cattle to fill pens. Many attractive cattle to choose from in flesh ranging from moderate to heavy. Some tag on the cattle as recent snow and rain has lots and yards muddy again. Replacement heifers saw very good demand again this week. An active market seen for this offering. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, April 15.
