Compared to last week: steers 650 to 999 lbs mostly steady except 700 to 749 lbs not well compared, instances up to 10.00 higher on 650 to 699 lbs. Best test on heifers 600 to 649 lbs and 700 to 749 lbs mostly steady. Good to very good demand for feeder cattle again this week, very good demand for replacement heifers. Similar to last week, flesh condition varied, from light to some heavy flesh at times. Many loads, multiple loads, and packages to choose from, mostly average to attractive in quality. An active market seen for this offering. Winter weather expected for the rest of the week and into the weekend with areas seeing freezing rain, snow or both and wind. Many producers are calving and preparing for this bout of weather. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, April 8. Happy Easter!
