Best test on heifers 500 to 549 lbs, 600 to 649 lbs and 700 to 749 lbs mostly steady with instances 20.00 lower on 500 to 549 lbs, 550 to 599 lbs not well compared, 650 to 699 lbs 6.00 to 12.00 higher. Another large offering of home raised cattle this week which was met with good to very good demand. Many loads and packages to choose from, all long time weaned and vaccinated. Flesh ranged from moderate to heavy again this week, slightly more flesh overall than last week. Despite the artic weather last week, cattle still looked eye appealing and stress free. An active market with plenty of interest from both buyers and farmer feeders. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, February 4.
