No sale last week due to the 4th of July holiday, compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 950 to 1049 lbs 15.00 to 20.00 higher. Heifers not well tested today for comparison. Very good demand for cattle today. Much of this offering was strings of backgrounded steers, most of these attractive in both quality and flesh condition. A few loads and packages coming off grass including some early tested open heifers. An active market with buyers determined to own cattle, especially since there are less cattle moving this time of year. Grass and crop conditions look very good as much of the area has received timely rains. Watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
