Compared to last week: best test on steers 1000 to 1049 lbs steady. Heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand for cattle today. A lighter offering this week featuring a couple strings of steers and a handful of loads and packages of steers and heifers. Quality was mostly attractive and flesh in the moderate to moderate plus range. A few loads and most of the packages were home raised cattle. An active market with a more seasonal attendance today but still plenty of outlets for this nice offering. Cooler, rainy weather to start out the week with warmer temps expected toward the end of the week. Many producers are busy making hay. No sale next Wednesday due to the 4th of July, watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
