Compared to last week: best test on steers 1000 to 1049 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 higher on a narrow comparison. Heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand for today's light yearling offering. Less grass cattle than last week, but less flesh overall this week. Quality mostly attractive on loads and more varied on packages, from plain to attractive. Quite a few tested open heifers again this week as producers get into PG season. An active market with buyers taking multiple loads quite often. A larger offering expected for next Wednesday, September 4.
