Compared to last week: steers 650 to 949 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 higher except 800 to 849 lbs not well compared. Heifers 650 to 699 lbs and 750 to 799 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 higher, 700 to 749 lbs mostly steady. Very good demand for this large offering which sold on an active market. Many attractive cattle to choose from today, the majority of them being home raised. Several opportunities to buy multiple loads of the same consignors' cattle which buyers took advantage of. Flesh varied quite a bit, from light to some heavy at times, more finishing type cattle this week. Cattle with the potential to go to grass continue to be very sought after. Mostly clean hided cattle as lot conditions are fairly decent right now. Weather remains warm and dry, favorable weather for feeding cattle and calving out cows. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, March 13.
