Compared to last week: steers 650 to 699 lbs 6.00 to 8.00 higher, 700 to 749 lbs and 800 to 849 lbs 3.00 to 4.00 higher, 750 to 799 lbs and 850 to 949 lbs mostly steady. Heifers 650 to 849 mostly steady. Good to very good demand for another large offering. Cattle which can go to grass see excellent demand, turn out time is fast approaching and there has been adequate moisture to give grass a good start. Many strings, loads, and packages of both home raised and backgrounded cattle to choose from in varied flesh condition, from light to some heavy flesh. Overall quality less attractive than last week with more plain cattle in the mix today. Some tag again this week as lot conditions are still muddy. An active market with slightly less drive to get cattle bought compared to last week. Weather has been warmer but cooler temps and some precip expected for the last half of the week. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, April 26.
