Another large offering of yearlings today featuring several strings as well as many loads and packages including quite a few home raised cattle again this week. Demand remains good for cattle off grass, lot cattle see moderate to good demand. Mixed flesh condition with more flesh overall than last week. A couple consignments of unweaned calves today met with light to moderate demand. Some calves had shots but mostly just spring shots. A moderate to active market for today's offering with both buyers and a few farmer feeders attending the sale. Bean harvest is well underway in this area. Dry conditions forecasted for the rest of the week which will keep harvest going. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, October 5.
