Compared to last week: best test on steers 900 to 1000 lbs steady. Best test on heifers 850 to 900 lbs and 951 to 1000 lbs mostly steady, 901 to 950 lbs steady to 3.00 lower. Good to very good demand for another large offering of yearlings with best demand seen for several strings of black steers off grass. Cattle both off grass and out of yards with flesh similar to last week, from light to moderate plus with some heavy flesh at times. Quite a few packages of home raised cattle today, many of these tested opens. Quality mostly average to attractive again this week. An active market with lots of buyers in attendance. Dry weather continues in this area with cooler temps forecasted for the rest of the week. Next feeder cattle sale is September 28.
