Compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 600 to 650 lbs 6.00 to 10.00 higher, 700 to 750 lbs steady to 2.00 lower. Best test on heifers 650 to 700 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, 750 to 800 lbs mostly steady, 801 to 850 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 higher, other weight classes of steers and heifers not well compared. Mostly heifers in today's offering including a long string of backgrounded Char cross heifers and several loads and packages of replacement types, these all met with good to very good demand. Demand moderate to good for the remainder of the offering, depending on flesh condition. Overall quality today mostly attractive. Flesh varied, the majority of the offering was in moderate to moderate plus, some heavy flesh at times. A moderate to active market for the offering with order buyers and producers bidding in the offering, producers mostly interested in replacement heifers. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, April 22.
