Compared to last week: best test on steers 600 to 699 mostly steady. Heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand for both steers and heifers today with replacement heifers seeing very good demand. Quite a few loads available despite a lighter offering. Less flesh overall than last week with quite a few cattle in light to moderate flesh and some moderate plus at times. Quality varied, especially on packages, from plain to attractive. An active market with the normal crowd of buyers and farmer feeders. Some tough weather this week with blizzard conditions followed by a colder spell expected to last through the weekend. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, February 27.
