Compared to last week: different weight classes than last week with no good comparisons, a higher undertone noted on steers over 900 lbs. Very good demand for this light offering featuring a long string of steers and a handful of packages, many of these being tested open heifers. The majority of the cattle came right off grass with one consignment of feedlot cattle. Quality mostly attractive on loads, varied quality on packages. An active market with most of the normal crowd of buyers in the seats buying multiple loads of same weight cattle to fill pens. More cattle off grass expected for next Friday, August 22.
