Compared to last week: yearling steers 950 to 999 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Calves too lightly tested this week to develop an accurate price trend. Very good demand for yearlings with buyers taking multiple loads of cattle when the opportunity arose. The majority of the yearling offering was a long string of 1000 steers, a couple other loads rounded out the yearlings. All came out of yards this week as grass season is finally over. Flesh condition mostly moderate plus. A light calf offering with a little bit of everything today including both weaned and unweand calves, vaccinated and unvaccinated, and colored and black hides, with quality varying greatly. Flesh condition ranged from light to moderate plus and the entire offering sold in packages. It was difficult for buyers to put together a load of cattle, especially a uniform load which made for a slightly less active calf market. No sales next week due to Thanksgiving, next feeder cattle sale is Friday, December 6. Happy Thanksgiving!!
