Many loads and packages of attractive cattle to choose from, both home raised and backgrounded. Flesh varied quite a bit, from light to heavy. An active market throughout the day with the most activity seen on cattle suitable for grass. Buyers have gotten back much of the optimism seen earlier this fall as the futures continue to rise and conditions look to a promising summer and fall marketing season. Warmer temperatures this week and forecasted for next week which will give cattle and humans a much needed break. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, February 2.
