First reported feeder cattle sale in several weeks so an accurate price trend can not be established. Very good demand for this large offering of yearlings selling predominantly in loads and strings. Many attractive cattle to choose from in varied flesh condition, mostly light to moderate plus. An active market with buyers determined to own cattle and many times taking all the loads of the same sort to fill pens. Optimism remains high for fall marketing and guys are determined to have cattle on hand to send to market. Temps have remained above normal for this time of year and some areas are becoming quite dry, some saw rain last night which was very welcome. Watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
