Sale not reported last week, compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 750 to 800 lbs and 850 to 950 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Heifers not well compared. Very good demand for today's offering of strings and loads. Cattle were attractive both in quality and flesh condition as the majority came off dry pastures in light to moderate flesh. An active market with buyers taking multiple loads of the same cut when offered. This area has finally seen some rain this week, with rain coming over several days and cooler temps have followed. Many producers are still busy with silage harvest. No sale next Friday due to Labor Day weekend, next feeder cattle sale is Friday, September 10.
