Compared to last week: different weight classes and a larger offering than last week with steers not well compared and best test on heifers 900 to 950 lbs mostly steady. Good to very good demand for several strings and many loads and packages which made up today's yearling offering. Both grass and yard cattle in town today in varied flesh, from light to moderate plus with some heavy flesh at times. Quality slightly more attractive than last week, mostly average to attractive quality today. A moderate to active market seen for this offering with a few more order buyers attending the auction than last week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, October 9.
