Compared to last week: steers 750 to 950 lbs steady to 2.00 lower. Heifers not well compared today. Moderate to good demand for today's yearling offering consisting of a couple strings and loads and several packages. Quality not as attractive as last week, more plain to average cattle included in the mix today. Slightly more flesh overall on today's offering than last week, from light to moderate plus, with more cattle out of yards today. A moderate market for this offering with a more limited crowd of buyers attending the sale. Bean harvest is well underway in the area and some corn is coming off as well. The weather is favorable for harvest, staying warm and dry. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, October 2.
