No sale last week due to Labor Day holiday. Compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 900 to 950 lbs 10.00 to 12.00 higher, 951 to 1050 lbs 2.00 to 6.00 higher. Best test on heifers 800 to 900 lbs steady to 1.00 higher. Good to very good demand for today's yearling's offering which sold on an active market. Many packages, a couple loads, and one long string of steers made up today's offering. Flesh varied, from light to moderate plus, with most of the cattle advertised as coming off grass. Quality mostly average to attractive. Most of the area saw a freeze this week. Silage harvest is largely completed. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, September 18.
