Compared to last week: best test on steers 700 to 750 and 800 to 850 lbs steady to 1.00 higher, 900 to 950 lbs 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Heifers not well compared today. Good demand for today's offering featuring many loads and several packages. Cattle fitting grass programs were met with very good demand. Flesh condition mostly moderate to moderate plus today and quality average to attractive. A moderate to active market with mostly order buyers in the seats today. Live and feeder cattle futures ended up with positive numbers for today but the weeks of uncertainty in these markets are making buyers very cautious and sometimes reluctant to procure cattle. Bred cattle and pairs next Friday with the next feeder cattle sale being annual Birthday Sale, Friday, May 15.
