Market not reported last week due to a light feeder cattle offering because of very cold windchills and blizzard conditions. Compared to two weeks ago: best test on steer calves 650 to 750 lbs steady to 3.00 lower. Best test on heifer calves 550 to 600 lbs 2.00 higher, 601 to 650 lbs mostly steady. Good to very good demand for today's many packages and loads with best demand seen for calves suitable for summer grass programs. More finishing type cattle in today's offering than two weeks ago, with flesh on these cattle mostly moderate plus to heavy at times. Quality varied, from plain to attractive. An active market today with order buyers and a few farmer feeders competing for cattle. Next feeder cattle sale is next Friday, January 31.
