Compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 850 to 1000 lbs 6.00 to 10.00 higher. Heifers too lightly tested both weeks for comparison. Moderate to good demand for today's large yearling offering consisting of strings, loads, and packages. Cattle came both off grass and out of feed yards today and flesh varied greatly, from light to heavy. Some tag on some of the feedlot cattle as wet conditions all summer have made pens very hard to maintain. A wider range in quality today than two weeks ago, from plain to attractive. A mostly active market with many buyers and producers attending the auction today. Great drying conditions this week with warm temperatures and wind making good harvest and haying days and producers scrambled to get as much done as possible before the rain predicted for this weekend.
