Other weight classes to limited to make a good comparison. Good to very good demand for todays offering with most cattle coming off grass. Several strings of reputation yearling steers along with loads and packages of tested open replacement heifers made up the bulk of the sale. An Active market as order buyers competing with internet buyers trying to refill pen space. Best demand was for full loads or multiple loads of the the same sort. Wide spread showers in the area with more showers forecasted over the weekend. August feeder cattle futures for 2025 are $120 per cwt above August of 2024, think about that for a minute. Next feeder sale is scheduled for September 12, 2025.
