Market not recently reported. Nice run of yearlings and calves for todays sale. Good to very good demand for both yearlings and calves. Several load lots of yearlings along with part loads and packages, with flesh condition ranging from moderate to moderate plus. A big run of calves with most being long time weaned and at least two rounds of vaccinations. Cattle were clean and attractive for quality, with flesh ranging from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate fleshed coming out of grow yards. Several consignments offered buyers the opportunity to purchase multiple loads of one owner cattle. A very active market with order buyers, farmer feeders and internet buyers competing for todays offering. Producers are cautious, yet determined to keep pen space filled. Next feeder cattle sale will be Friday, January 10, 2025, a Special Calf, Yearling, and Replacement Heifers sale.
