As filed

Sale last reported three weeks ago so an accurate price trend can not be established, but lower undertones noted across the board. A couple of strings, along with part loads and packages made up todays offering. Good demand for todays lighter offering of yearlings and fall calves. Several strings of yearlings coming off grass selling in multiple loads were meet with good demand, lesser demand for back grounded cattle and packages. Flesh conditions ranged from moderate flesh cattle coming off grass, to moderate plus cattle coming out of grow yards. An active market with order buyers and famer feeders competing with internet buyers to procure cattle. Most of the offering was attractive for quality as pasture conditions mature and are drying up. Hot, dry conditions are forecasted in the area for the next week. Cattle futures continue there downward trend as does the cash fat cattle market. Next feeder sale is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024.
