Heifers from 600 lbs to 699 lbs were from 2.00 higher to 5.00 lower; Limited numbers for comparisons due to several cancellations because of icy roads in the area. Good demand for the cattle that did make it to town for the auctions. Nearly the entire offering was home raised, fully preconditioned and were a long time weaned. A more active market for the greener grass type cattle especially if they were black hided. Flesh ranged from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate fleshed backgrounded cattle.
