Several market related cancellations made for a limited test today. Compared to last week : 650 lbs to 750 lbs steers were 6.00 to 8.00 lower, heifers had lower undertones on a limited test, not enough numbers in the other weight classes to make a good comparison. Flesh conditions ranged from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate plus background cattle. Several consignments of replacement heifers were met with good demand. Mostly packages and part loads with a few consignments of full loads offered today. A moderate to active market seen for this offering, with another day of triple digit losses on both live and feeder cattle futures putting pressure on the market. Next feeder sale will be Friday, March 27th expecting a nice run of high quality feeders.
