As filed

To few numbers to make a comparisons. Sale consisted of a couple strings of steers off grass and multiple consignments of tested open replacement heifers. Most of the cattle were off pasture, displaying light to moderate flesh conditions. Quality of the cattle was attractive as a couple of strings of steers were right off grass, as were most of the tested open replacement heifers. Mostly order buyers and internet buyers competing for todays offering. An active market but buyers are cautious as packing plant closures and a sluggish fat cattle trade are concerning for the industry. Most of the area has received some much needed rain fall and some cooler temperatures have eased the heat stress conditions experienced this past month. Next feeder sale is scheduled for August 28, 2026
