Last sale 3 weeks ago, no comparisons made. Good to very good demand for this summertime offering of weaned fall calves and yearlings. Flesh condition ranged from from light to very light as the drought has remains severe in many areas. The market was active, yet cattle feeders are feeling pressure as the cash fed cattle market slipped down to 245.00-248.00, few at 250.00. CME Live Cattle contracts have retreated to 235.00 for Aug but 230.00 for the fall and winter, this is causing great concern as most cattle are facing a 250.00 breakeven price. Next feeder cattle sale will be July 31, 2026.
