Compared to last Wednesday: Steer calves from 450 lbs to 649 lbs were steady to instances of 8.00 lower on a limited test. No comparisons made on heifer calves due to limited numbers. A nice run of black hided calves that were right off the cow and had two rounds of vaccinations. Moderate to good demand as buyers remain cautious while bidding on cattle. Calves were light to moderate fleshed and attractive in condition, extremely clean considering the muddy conditions in the area. Several cancellations due to the recent moisture in the area causing muddy road conditions. Next feeder sale is scheduled for Friday October 30, 2026, expecting a big run of high quality yearlings and calves.
