First special Wednesday calf sale of the season so no price comparisons will be made. Large run of high quality calves for todays sale were met with good demand. A large crowd in attendance for todays auction. Calves were fully vaccinated and right off the cow except for one consignment of weaned calves. Several strings of calves from reputation ranchers offered buyers the opportunity to put multiple loads of one producers cattle together. Wide price range depending on vaccination programs, flesh condition and quality. Next feeder sale is Friday, October 18, 2024. Expecting a large run of yearlings, fall calves and spring born calves.
