As filed

Compared to last Wednesday: Steers from 400 lbs to 599 lbs were mostly 10.00 to 20.00 lower, Heifers from 450 lbs to 550 lbs were mostly 10.00 to 15.00 lower. Most of the calves were light fleshed, right off the cow and had spring and fall vaccinations. Good demand for many loads and packages of steer and heifer calves made for a fairly active market. Nice crowd of order buyers, farmer feeders and internet buyers competing for todays offering of calves. Cooler temperature and forecast of light snow in the area for the next few days. The next feeder sale will be October 27, 20023 expecting 2500 yearlings and 8700 spring calves.
