Compared to last week, not enough traditional slaughter steers for a market test. Non-traditional slaughter steers sold mostly steady on good demand. Not enough slaughter Holstein steers or slaughter heifers for a market test. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher on moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold mixed from 1.00 lower to 1.00 higher with the high dressing steers being higher and the average and low dressing steers being lower. Offerings included 153 slaughter steers, 242 slaughter heifers, 327 slaughter cows, 83 slaughter bulls, 117 miscellaneous cattle, and 470 dairy feeder calves.
