Compared to last week, not enough traditional slaughter steers for a market test. Non-traditional slaughter steers sold mostly steady on moderate demand. Holstein slaughter steers not tested. Not enough slaughter heifers for a market test. Slaughter cows not reported last week due to the holiday so no comparison. Slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 higher on good demand for the better quality bulls. Offerings included 188 slaughter steers, 252 slaughter heifers, 389 slaughter cows, 87 slaughter bulls, 92 miscellaneous cattle, and 456 dairy feeder calves.
