Steer calves 2.00-4.00 higher, with the 450lb. weight class 25.00 higher. Heifer calves, in a light comparison, steady to 3.00 higher. Heifer calves weighing 550-600 lbs. as much as 20 higher. Any cattle in this report marked as "Value Added" are unweaned cattle with at least 2 rounds of shots. Demand strong. Quality attractive with several fancy groups across all weight classes. After lower prices last week, we had many new faces in the barn today looking to stock up and send to wheat. Today's temperatures were in the mid 60s most of the morning before the sun broke loose from the clouds and took temperatures to the upper 70s.
