Reporter comment USDA

As filed

First reported sale in several weeks a market trend is not applicable. Very light run of yearling cattle with several home raised preg checked open heifers in the mix. A heavy run of slaughter cows and bulls on hand as ranchers have started to sell older cows or open cows to help conserve feed resources since it is very dry in the auction market trade area. Two weeks on Oct 7th will be a special calf and yearling auction.
