First reported sale in several weeks a market trend is not applicable. However, a higher undertone was noted. Demand was good for top quality ranch grown yearlings. Most offerings sold in load lots. along with several packages of preg checked open heifers in the run. Majority of the cattle came off of dry, short, grass pastures as the local trade area is very dry. Rains have been very scarce in this area of Nebraska all summer long.
