Compared to last week on comparable offerings, steers and heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Demand was good from start to finish for calves and feeder cattle. With very good demand for 700 lbs Hereford replacement heifers. Most of the slaughter type cows went back to county to be placed on feed. Next week, April 15th will consist of cow/calf pairs and bred cows along with slaughter cattle. April 22nd will be a calf and feeder auction.
