Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared with two weeks ago 850 and 950 lbs steers sold 6.00-8.00 higher while 750 and 850 lbs spayed heifers sold 6.00-7.00 higher with slaughter cows and bulls selling 5.00-7.00 lower with no other comparisons. There was a good crowd on hand today for big strings and some packages of yearling type as well as fall calves coming off of grass and some pregged open heifers. Trade was good with demand being good with some bidding from the internet. Crawford's next sale will be a spring calf and yearling special September 27.
