Compared to last week: Feeder steers 600-850 lbs traded 9.00-10.00 lower on a light test. Other weights not tested. Feeder heifers traded mixed with 500-550 lb. heifers trading 3.00 higher, 550-700 lb. heifers selling 3.00-7.00 lower all on a very light test. Todays much smaller run did not see the overall quality in last weeks larger offering. One load lot of steers and one load lot of heifers were available to buyers, the balance sold in smaller packages. Many buyers and farmers at todays sale, as in addition to the regular feeder and cattle sales 350 bred cows and heifers and 200 open cows were being sold. Demand mostly moderate with good demand for the quality feeder cattle in the larger consignments.
