As filed

Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers too lightly tested last sale for a comparison but a sharply higher undertone seen throughout the sale with instances of 15.00 to 20.00 higher in spots. Feeder heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher with exception of 600-650 lb. heifers bringing 6.00 lower. Sale demand was very solid on mostly all classes especially so on replacement quality heifers. The active bidding didn't take any breaks on the continuous offering of attractive to very attractive strings and loads of cattle that entered the ring. The active market was even more so impressive as the CME feeder cattle futures dipped over $6.00 at the close. Cash trade saw $258-$260 in the north adding to the optimism. Next special feeder cattle sale will be May 21st.
