As filed

Compared to three weeks ago: Feeder steers under 600 lbs and feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold on vastly higher undertones, all other weights of steers and heifers 10.00 to 20.00 higher. A very large offering of very attractive steers and heifers, quality was outstanding throughout the sale. Many long strings offered in full loads and multiple load lots, including many replacement quality heifers. Demand for all classes was very good and cattle were very easy to sell. The market was extremely active from the start to the finish as there is much optimism in the cattle industry currently. The cattle futures complex has risen substantially from where it was three weeks ago, the fat cattle market looks to achieve the 250.00 level, and the grazing season looks to have a good start with the recent moisture. Next special feeder cattle sale will be April 23, 2026.
