Compared to last week: A much larger offering than last week, mostly steady undertones. Very good demand remains for all weights of steers and heifers. The cattle futures complex had some losses today but that did not seem to carryover into the market at the auction. The market remains very active, especially on those light cattle to grow into yearlings and for replacement quality heifers, of which there were many. Several long strings of steers and heifers, offered in full loads, along with numerous smaller lots offered in packages and ring fulls. Flesh condition light to moderate. Next feeder cattle auction will be Mar. 5, 2026.
