No comparisons to make last USDA reported sale at Stockmen's was April 10. The sale demand was very good from start to finish. The market was active with a ring full of buyers. The flesh condition was average, no cattle carrying excessive flesh. The sale had a higher undertone compared to the last USDA reported sale. The offering consisted of a large offering of heifers with a few groups selling as replacements. The state of North Dakota continues to be dry. With the area North of Dickinson, ND in the extreme drought category. The National Weather Service is predicting a good rainmaker for next week. A good rain is much needed. The next USAD reported sale at Stockmen's will be May 8.
