Compared to last week: Steers under 500 lbs. 5.00 higher, Steers 500 to 600 lbs. 5.00 lower, Steers 600 to 700 lbs. steady to 5.00 lower, Steers 700 to 800 lbs. 5.00 lower. Heifers under 500 lbs. 15 higher, Heifers 500 to 600 lbs. 10.00 to 15.00 lower, Heifers 600 to 700 lbs. 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Not enough yearlings for a test. The buyer demand continues to be very good. The activity at Stockmen's continues to be active. The feeder cattle at todays sale were carrying a little more flesh then previous sales. The Dickinson, ND area continues to be dry, no measurable moisture since August. The CME Feeder and Live cattle boards continue to have some selling pressure to begin the week. The sale featured the Badlands Angus Alliance replacement heifer offerings. The top heifers were 69 heifers at 669 lbs. bringing $2550.00 a head. The next USDA sale at Stockmen's is February 13.
