Reporter comment USDA

As filed

First reported feeder cattle auction of the late summer marketing season, no price comparisons available: Very good demand for this offering of attractive new crop calves and yearling steers and pregnancy tested open heifers. The drought has been severe in this part of the trade area and is pushing cattle to market earlier and lighter than normal. Next feeder cattle sale is scheduled for August 26. 2021.
