Compared to last week the market recovered from previous losses in the feeder calf sales. Feeder steers 450 to 700 lbs were 28 .00 to 34.00 higher with 600 to 650 lbs. 59.00 higher. Feeder heifers 450 to 500 lbs. were 63.00 higher and 500 to 650 lbs. were 30.00 to 43.00 higher. Several bunches of heifers were purchased for replacements today. Many load lots of steers and heifers in today's offering. New buyers in attendance today and there was aggressive bidding all day for the high quality steers and heifers. Most calves were in light to moderate flesh condition. Buyers are paying higher prices for the feeders with shots. Expecting a large run of calves for next weeks sale.
